NAZARUDDIN BIN ABDUL RAHIM
Chief Executive Officer, Celcom Timur (Sabah) Sdn Bhd (CTS)
Nazaruddin took the helm of Celcom Timur (Sabah) Sdn Bhd in July 2019, bringing along vast major of experiences from financial, marketing, sales, to strategic and business planning.
He started off his career as an Auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1989 before continuing his journey with Kuala Lumpur City Center Berhad in 1993 as the Head of Financial Accounting, a position he assumed for one year.
In 1994, he joined Celcom Axiata Berhad, one of the leading telecommunication company in the industry. During his stint there, he was assigned to various positions in the company as the: –
- Head of Finance and Treasury
- Head of Business Planning and Financial Management
- Senior Vice President of Product Marketing
- Director of Sales Planning
- Head of Corporate Strategy
Prior to joining Celcom Timur (Sabah) Sdn Bhd, he was with 11street Sdn Bhd as its Chief Financial Officer in 2015. 11street is an online market place, a joint-venture company between SK Planet Korea and Celcom Axiata Berhad. While there, he was exposed to the latest e-commerce technology, online marketing and sales as well as customers’ patterns and behaviours.
Nazaruddin is also a Chartered Accountant from Malaysian Institute of Accountants and holds a Bachelor in Accounting from MARA Institute of Technology.
